still working...
so, sorry it's been so long since the last update. i just got medieval II: total war in a little while back, and that has been incredibly distracting. at some point soon, i'll start putting pictures up again.

Error correction
I just noticed that I had the wrong date on all my San Francisco posts. Those now show correctly.
Portland, 11/04/06
Amy
Unfortunately, these were the only pictures I took in Portland, other than some of some (relatively) cheap gas. Partly, I think, because of the crappy weather; partly because somebody else always seemed to have a camera, so I just thought "pictures are being taken, so I don't need to worry about it;" partly because I didn't want to haul my camera everywhere with me; and partly because I'm not an overly avid photographer. Next time, though, I'll be visiting when the weather is nicer, and will make sure to get more pictures. For those interested, Geanna has a few pictures from her birthday dinner up on her site.

York, May 2004
Me in a limestone coffin (13th or 14th century, I think) in the undercroft of York Minster. Had there been a pillow, it actually would have been fairly comfortable.
Part of the ruins of St. Mary's Abbey, which was destroyed by Henry VIIIs troops around 1540. Also pictured are Alyssa and Corliss.
Again, not sure exactly what camera these were taken with. I think tomorrow I'm going to resume the pictures from California, and get back to my good old (new) Powershot.

London, May 2004
A bus, and Whitehall Palace, behind which Charles I was beheaded by Oliver Cromwell and his Protestant forces.
The actual City of London is only 1 square mile, and has one of these little dragon towers facing in each of the cardinal directions; if I remember correctly, they were intended to ward off evil.
Armor of Henry VIII; obviously from his earlier years, when he was still small enough to fit in a suit of armor.
Big Ben and the Parliament building, taken from the River Thames.
I'm not sure what camera these were taken with, actually. I borrowed my parents' camera for the trip, but it has since been dropped several times, and it's position in a trash heap somewhere or other makes it a bit hard for me to determine the model.
The voters demand a change!
Actually, I was the only voter in this situation. As much fun as the pictures from Frisco are, I think I need to start mixing things up a bit, and start posting some other pictures I've taken.
